In recent news has been reported that Liverpool’s second captain Trent Alexander-Arnold wants to buy Ligue 1 club, FC Nantes for a huge amount of 83 million pounds.
The English right-back was reported to show interest in purchasing the club through a fund he owned with Michael, his father. A lot of multiple sources were saying that the owner of FC Nantes, Waldemar Kita, met Trent Alexander-Arnold’s father three times for a discussion on the selling of his club.
But recently, the Polish president of the club who has been the owner since the year 2007, has turned down every rumor about the possibility of selling his club.
Speaking about the situation to the media, Waldemar Kita has said some harsh words to the English right-back. He feels that Trent and his father are not professionals in doing business and everything that the reporters are saying are not true.
He said that it was all a bullsh*t and he asked where this came from after the owner felt that you would not expect a serious man who wants to buy a club to use a journalist for the situation. He even mentions Trent Alexander-Arnold’s name asking who the person is.
The Polish then continued saying that Trent has already told him about his father who is involved in finances and they have a lot of great agents and players. He denies the rumors that he had a video conference with anyone about the situation, calling it nonsense.
Since taking over the club, Waldemar Kita sometimes has been expressed as overloaded with finances and work that the club has. The Ligue 1’s television and sponsors have started to drop compared to the other big European Leagues and a lot of teams are having financial problems within the squad.
Until now, there is no sign that Trent Alexander-Arnold with his father will try to go on with the situation, but we still have to wait for anything to happen in the future with this case.
Liverpool today faces Bournemouth in the league and the only focus now for the English right-back is to put on a good performance and help the team achieve success in all competitions this season.
