Arne Slot’s team received another victory in the UEFA Champions League against Bologna, ending 2-0 in the Reds’ favor. This win places Liverpool in fifth place with 6 points in the new Champions league table format.
The match started perfectly for Liverpool after Alexis Mac Allister scored in the 11th minute from a brilliant assist by Mohamed Salah. As the game continued, the Reds’s offensive for another goal didn’t stop until Mo Salah scored an amazing solo goal with his left to destroy Bologna’s hopes for a draw.
Since the start of the season, Liverpool has had a great start, winning eight matches out of nine played. In the Champions League, their run is perfect winning the first two matches against two Italian teams, compared to the Premier League in which Liverpool lost only one match against Nottingham Forest.
